Dr Loukas, Founder of the New Forest Implant Office
Dr Konstantinos Loukas DMD MSc
Dr Konstantinos Loukas qualified as a dentist in 2000. He embarked upon a two year residency at the Dental School of Athens where he was allocated as a clinical and lab instructor supervising students in the prosthetic department. At the same time, he served in the Airforce Military Hospital of Athens performing general and prosthetic dentistry.
Over the last 15 years in the UK, Dr Loukas has placed and restored over 6000 Straumann implants. With practically perfect implant integration, he is operating an implant success-survival rate of 99.5%. His target is to build large bone volumes around his implants and to make sure that they have lasting durability.
Dr Loukas has extensive experience with complex cases and regularly treats a high volume of implant complications. As an official Straumann and ITI mentor, he trains and supports other dentists who are developing their implant skills. Dr Loukas is also a registered speaker for the ‘International Team for Implantology’ and a director for the ITI Study Club in Bournemouth & Poole.
New Forest Implant Office and Implant Ceramics Lab
Dr Loukas, after providing implant therapy in 30 clinics across the UK, decided to create a unique space for one to one service. He called this facility the New Forest Implant Office.
In 2022 Dr Loukas created its own dental laboratory specialised in dental implants.
He has 4 lab technicians working with him which allows him to control the speed, quality and guarantee of his work.
